Hey, hey, welcome back to the Encounter Now podcast. You guys are listening to an episode all about

0:05.9

hearing God's voice. How do we actually hear from him? What are the methods to this madness?

0:12.3

And also, what is it like to talk to God? This is a special episode that Nick and I just

0:18.0

had a simple conversation around and we hope that maybe it sparks

0:21.8

some thoughts within you and that you're able to learn something from it. So I can't wait for

0:26.0

you guys to hear this conversation. Let's get started.

Okay. Hey guys, welcome back to the podcast. Just for me personally, I'm so sorry about last week and the fact that we did not upload. I actually had my wisdom teeth out last week or just a few days ago actually. And we were just wanting to make sure that we took appropriate time off for that and weren't trying to do something that we know we couldn't

0:59.8

but back on the podcast this week we actually wanted to talk with you guys about something that

has actually really been heavy on my heart and it seems like on Chelsea's heart she's

1:10.8

gotten some messages about this topic and I'm just really looking forward to having this

1:16.4

conversation and see what comes about of it. I know that in my spiritual journey with Jesus in

1:21.9

times prior, this has really been something that has caused me a lot of grief and it's caused me a lot of pain and it

1:29.1

made me feel like I wasn't a good Christian because I wasn't hearing this big audible voice from

1:35.5

heaven and today we just want to address that and talk about how we hear God and how he hears us

1:41.9

and how he responds and how we should respond to his voice too.

1:45.1

That was lovely. Yeah. I just want to say it's been about four days since Nick has gotten his

1:51.1

wisdom teeth out and he is talking very eloquently and I'm just proud of you. Thank you. That's

1:58.0

encouraging. Yeah. Surprisingly when I went into the surgery, everyone was saying like, yeah, I mean, you have to make sure you use ice and take lots of medicine.

2:08.0

He has recovered so well. I've been spending the past few days, like going over the footage and just editing some of the clips, trying to make a really good video out of this because it's kind of

2:18.3

funny but yet we want to also teach people like wisdom teeth removal is not the worst thing in

2:23.5

the world no it's not I was super scared about it and it hasn't been like anything honestly

2:29.4

this is honestly this has been like one of the easiest things I've ever had to go through
