So this week we're going to do something a little bit different.

Next week we're actually going to be on vacation, so don't look for us, but we'll be back the week after.

But this week, we thought that we would take a little bit of time to look back at

some of our favorite moments over the last few months of recording in the

thick. Before we start kind of looking back on you know what these past

several months have been like for us on this show.

I actually want to do a quick temperature check with you Julio.

You know we do this now on our show we want to just know how our guests how the people that

we're speaking to are feeling about things so this time I just

want to ask you about in the thick itself Julio has making in the thick and hearing you

know on a weekly basis from these super smart really diverse political

journalists has it changed your outlook on politics so far? I don't know if it's changed

my outlook on politics but it's given me hope in the fact that there's so many smart journalists

and just political junkies of color that have been saying things that like you just don't hear Maria like you said it best these

voices don't appear on the Sunday news talk circuit I totally get so excited to

hear the different voices now and what people represent.
