It's great to have you back on.

The last time you were, we spoke to you on our show,

you were with Professor David Wilson and you gave us a lot of insight into this the wound culture and web sleut thing and since then you've gone on to you joined up with these are three other

professors at Birmingham City University in the UK.

Yeah, there's quite a few of us involved in it. So I started doing Crime Bites back in February this year, and it was just me and a couple of other people so it was me and Professor David Wilson

and whoever else wanted to get involved really and but since then it's it's

really grown so we've got some regular faces on the podcast so there's myself there's David

there's our colleague Dr Adam lines who specializes in homicide and violent crimes so he

looks at serial killers we have another colleague Emma Kelly who runs the

criminology program at Birmingham City University and we have our colleague

Dr Victoria Silverwood who joined us probably about six months ago on the

podcast so yeah we've got some some regular faces and I always like to try and talk to

criminologists at other universities as well in the UK and in the US. So we spoke to Dr.

Travis Lineman of the University of East Kentucky about his research on meth and

we've talked to lots of other different people so it's a

really interesting thing to do and I've learned so much more about criminology

than I knew before because as academics we have a tendency to sort of stay in our

own little corner so I study homicide and violent crime and I study the research around that
