She was responding to an urgent question about the programme, Gaza, how to survive a war zone.

The corporation removed the programme from BBC Eye Player

after it emerged that it was narrated by the 13-year-old son of a Hamas official.

Hamas, which is prescribed as a terrorist organisation by the UK government,

carried out the killings and kidnappings on October the 7th, 2023,

which triggered the conflict in Gaza.

The documentary makers had not made clear the link.

The BBC said it removed the programme so it could carry out what it called further due diligence.
