We're going to be talking about going to crime con in a little bit. But Lance, this episode, it's a great one.

We have on two authors David Bushman and Mark T. Gibbons. They wrote a book called Murder at Teals Pond.

Hazel Drew and the mystery that inspired Twin Peaks. Lance, I know you're a huge Twin Peaks fan.

So tell me about about this book.

Yeah, it was a real pleasure talking with these two gentlemen.

And while they are both Twin Peaks fans and the Ford is written by Mark Frost, the co-creator of Twin Peaks.

The book itself asked the question, who killed Hazel Drew and why?

And that brutal murder took place in 1908 in a small town called Sand Lake, New York.

And David and Mark do an outstanding job recreating the crime, that time period, and the region with its questionable politics.

And it's truly a centric characters. It's further impressive to me that this is the first true crime book either of them has written.

And after five years of researching the murder, the result is a page turner that I cannot recommend enough.

Great. And the audiobook is available as well on Audible. And this is a new book.

It came out in December of 2021. You did a great job with this interview Lance. I was not a part of it.

So this is, I think the first one that you've handled completely on your own on crawl space.
