pal Katie Floyd how you doing Katie I'm great David how are you good this is a show we've been kind of wanting to do for a while, a little intimidated by it, frankly.

Emergency Preparedness is kind of a big topic, but we want to focus on emergency preparedness

for geeks.

You know, in today's day and age,

if a disaster strikes, you're going to want to know

you've got your data and your technology available to you.

And that's something we can talk about.

We can't really talk about how much water you should have on hand and some of the other things.

I don't know the answer though.

My guess is we've got some listeners that know all those answers, but we thought for our show we would try and focus on the geeky side of it,

you know, what's the technology into the stuff?

Because there are some things you can take steps for right now that will help you out a lot in the future.

It's both preparing your technology and using technology to help you be prepared.

Yeah, I mean one of the things that led to this show for me was just taking a time to buy a solar charger for my phone and it just kind of got a lot bigger pieces of this.

And you've thought it through more than I have.

Frankly, that's one of the themes of the shows,

how much more Katie Floyd has it together than me.

But, so like, it's interesting because you're in Florida.

You visited Florida, you know what happens here. Oh yeah it is that is like you know it is scary in Florida.

Like I said I mean it's just like you there just lightning keeps going off.

You guys had more lightning in an hour than I've seen my life in August.
