Pull the cuffs in your sleeves tight and tuck your pants into your boots

Welcome to episode number 269 of our v-miles. I'm Jason and I'm Abby and we are two full-time travelers who along with our three boys, Jack Ethan and Henry

have been criss-crossing North America on one epic road trip since 2016. Here are v-miles. We talk all things RV and outdoors from industry news to travel destinations, our national parks, and so much more.

We're changing things up a bit here. It's been it's been a couple weeks. We've been away for a couple weeks

due to mainly trying to shuffle things around here in California due to all the rain and flooding that's happening. Our travel plans are

just kind of all over the place. Also, there are there are prop planes flying overhead, so hopefully they don't interrupt too much of what we're doing here.

It's like California does not in any way whatsoever want us to record a podcast.

But you know, we've been doing these news roundup videos for a long time now and and I've been trying to put the the audio of them in the podcast feed and to some success at some points.

When you're reminded, but you put them in there, but an issue we've had is that the YouTube algorithm just does not like the roundup format, right?

So if we make the thumbnail and title about a certain story, other people aren't getting the other stories, you know, if they weren't interested in that first story.

So say it was a story about Ford trucks and somebody is a motorhome driver and they don't care about trucks at all.

They might not have clicked on that that news roundup and miss some other stories that might have been interesting to them.

So we're trying to figure out a way to navigate that what we're going to do and what we've already started doing.

Is putting out just short stories as individual videos.
