Hello everyone, welcome back to another episode of Luke's English

podcast I think this is episode 268 and this podcast episode contains

everything that you should know about the general election,

which is happening across the UK this Thursday,

the 7th of May 2015.

Now, I know that this could be a long episode,

but I'm so determined to cover the whole story that I don't mind how long it

takes okay it's gonna take as long as it takes all right I feel that it's worth spending

some time to cover this topic in enough detail to make it genuinely

interesting and informative. I'm not there in the UK at the moment, I'm not there so I'm not able

to take part in the discussions with people or watch all the coverage on TV

But I care about this a lot as I'm sure you can understand and I've just got to get this stuff off my chest which means I've just got lots of things

inside that I really want to tell you about. This is a really important election just like

any election really and it's interesting

because we genuinely don't know what's going to happen and the consequences of the

different outcomes could be quite drastic in fact. Voting in the election is on

May the 7th that is election day but I've already voted in fact I did it by post yes that is possible in the UK you can vote by

post if you're not there so basically I kind of registered online and registered to vote by post and they sent me my ballot paper

through the post with a special envelope and I've completed my ballot paper and I
