because I feel myself getting like super tired and talking like a crazy person.

Let's jump into today's episode. This question comes from S via

Instagram and she says, hey girl I love you so much and thank you so much for being

an inspiration and a light to so many girls and women out there. Thank you for

being awesome. Thank you so much. I wanted to ask if you

could give advice on how to deal with rejection by people from within the church. This is going to be a long

story and just in advance. So let's go. About four years ago there was a guy I liked in church and I told him and he said his feelings are mutual so we decided to try it out but three weeks later he came back from a week-long church camp. He said that we should just be friends and start a thing, saying things like when you're not officially dating you can see someone else and be like, you can see someone else and be like, dang, who says that right? Or don't make this a a big deal after I told him I was hurt and he

even lied to me when I asked if he'd found someone else and said let's just

be friends so that things are not awkward and by the next Sunday I was being

introduced to the girl he met at camp. He needs a nap.

Sorry that was me. Let's go back to the message. My pastor knew about he and I and when he

asked about us all we could say was we chose to be friends when in fact I wanted to say I was rejected badly.

The guy I liked was one of those super Christians who could recite the whole Bible

and was friends with everyone and didn't want to sort of break that image and

look like the bad guy. The homie was loved by everyone.

I've come to know that now it doesn't matter how much scripture someone says they know,

if they mess up, they mess up. But how exactly could I have dealt with that situation?

That's a great question. You know one thing that I would say and this is gonna first sound like I'm being sassy Jamie, but I promise y'all there is some truth and wisdom to this and I'm not just going off.

But one thing that I would say is when your pastor wanted to know, you know, how you guys are doing and
