helps to make the show possible. And with that being said, let's begin with our

first listener story of the night, which comes to us from RJ. And RJ says,

Hi, Nick, I've been listening to your podcast for a while now. I am from New Zealand and

I think it's time for me to share a few of my paranormal encounters. My most recent

encounter was when I was with my partner's family down the sounds over Christmas period

and we were at a local pub having a drink and playing some pool. I noticed this man

heading past our table and heading towards the back room through these two swinging

doors. Now this was usual due to the back room only ever being used for private functions,

but I can confirm that there were no private functions for this day. I look over to my

mother-in-law and say, I wonder what that man is doing going out the back room? When

I then notice the color has drained from her face as she is staring in the direction

of the back room doors. I look over and notice the swinging doors are still moving as if

someone or something has just walked through them. We stared in that direction for a few

moments before looking around to see if we could find any other reason as to why the doors

were still moving. But there were none. My mother-in-law confirmed that she never saw the

man that I saw walking past us, but she definitely saw the doors slowly open and swing

as if someone had just walked through them. I hope my story makes it on your podcast.
