Genesis 1814.

Is anything too hard for the Lord?

At the appointed time, I will return to you, about this time next year, and Sarah shall have a son.

This verse comes in the midst of God's promise to bring Abraham and Sarah a son even in their

very old age, to the point where Sarah thought it laughable that God would give her a son in her old age.

Both of them thought it impossible. But Genesis 1814 says, is anything too hard for the Lord?

And it's a rhetorical question. The answer is obviously, no, nothing is too hard for God. Just like we see in Luke

chapter one, nothing is impossible with God. God's power is supreme. He can do what he wants.

He can supersede what we think is possible. So I want you to think, as I was reading

this first, I started thinking about my own life. You think about your life. What are you asking God for?

What are you asking God to do that is impossible without him?

Are we praying like that?

Are you praying like that for things?

You're asking God to see him move in ways that make no sense?

Maybe you've been praying for something for a long time

and you've almost given up on praying for that person

or praying for this or that thing to actually happen.

And I just want to encourage you to have renewed faith today

that nothing is too hard for the Lord.

Now, that doesn't mean that everything we say before God ask of God is then guaranteed

because nothing is too hard for Him.
