As y'all recall in the last episode, we talked about how Stonewall Jackson was shot by

his own troops in the dark and the woods, late on the evening of Saturday, May 2, 1863,

at the Battle of Chancellorsville.

With his wounding in that friendly fire incident, Jackson's role at Chancellorsville came to

an end, although Stonewall then had a new battle to fight, a battle for his life.
