When I graduated from seminary, I'd done very well on seminary, and I graduated the honors

and won student prizes.

I think it was just because I got to seminary.

I think one of the things that Christian College did, I don't mean this to be pejorative

of that experience, I'm very thankful for those

four years, but it planted massive amounts of deeper questions in me. And so I was just

lapping up everything. And I thought, I'm only going to be three years here. I'm going to get

everything I can get.

And so I did well.

And we, as often this case with seminary students, when you're graduating, you have ministries come and sort of offer your job and denominations come and say we want to put you through a

it's like a pastoral training it's like NFL training camp they just come and look that's right best and the best and I just was

deeply persuaded that I had no business taking a church at that point. I was just way too young.

No, we had done lots of ministry. Why were the first year of marriage, I was a youth pastor
