Our guest today is David Bishop.

From 1996 to 2000, he was the editor of 2000 AD,

the UK's leading magazine of science fiction comics.

Together with Carl Stock, he wrote the non-fiction book Thrill Power Overload, 40 years of

2000 AD, which we'll be talking about today.

He's also written for Comics, Television, and Computer Games, and is the author of 20 fantasy and science fiction novels,

including books set in the worlds of Dr. Who, Warhammer, and Nightmare and Elm Street.

He's also currently the director of the Masters and Creative Writing Program at the University

of Edinburgh Napier.
