Welcome back to Missing. I am Tim here today with Lance. Lance, how are you today on this Thanksgiving day 2021?

I'm thankful to be here Tim. How are you today?

I am doing well and I'm excited to be with my family today and this weekend and I hope everyone out there gets to do the same.

We wanted to play this episode, this interview we had with a man named John Palmer for a couple of reasons.

We want to introduce more people to his story and Katie Palmer's story.

We also wanted to let you know that we're probably going to do some more of these episodes on this feed, the Missing Feed.

And the other reason why we're playing this today on this Thanksgiving holiday.

Tim, you mentioned at the top that you were thankful for being with your family.

Really think about your family, your friends, your loved ones when you're listening to this.

This is a gentleman who lost a lot, lost almost everything and has his family to support him.

He needs to support his kids, they're supporting him.

So in the spirit of being thankful towards those who are most important to you.

This is a very appropriate episode for today.

This happened very recently, April 21st of 2020.

So it's been 17 or 18 months and you can tell that John counts the days since this has happened.

I don't want to get into it too much in this intro, what happened to Katie because he describes it.

I also want to maybe give a little bit of a disclaimer that while it's not incredibly graphic, it's incredibly emotional.

It's one of those ones that still hasn't left me.

I don't know about you Tim, but every day I think about this and I want to reach out to him and make sure he's doing okay.
