Today's Swoll fam spotlight is from Megan. What's going on Beech's welcome to the DailySwool podcast episode 2,600, Sunday, August the 27th. And I am your swole host, Papa Swoleo. Megan writes, hi, Swolefam. I recently just introduced myself in the main chat. Now I'm ready to post here too. I

decided to change my health for the better back in 2014. I had just gone through a breakup so I was

hurt and needing to heal in some way. I decided to join the gym by my house, take control of something

in my life, and I was 20 years old. In my very first pictures taken, I look sick and

unhappy. Those pictures were from 2013 before the breakup and I had been consistently lifting for

five years. With one year focused more on spinning and less on lifting, that wasn't a great year for

me. Now that I'm regularly lifting weights, doing my physical therapy

for a torn meniscus and practicing yoga right now three times a week, I'm in the best shape I've

been in as a whole. I fluctuated from 145 to 165, trying different diets, exercise, routines, etc.

Now I'm sitting happy at 160 with good balance between most aspects of fitness and nutrition,

but I want to be clear the weight that I read on the scale doesn't affect me.

It's simply a calculation that doesn't define my worth.
