Well, here we go again. It's Mike Roe. This is the way I heard it, episode number 266. It's called America's Cop is always on duty. And Chuck, explain why that's so clever and funny, would you?

Well, you know, you would think it would be D-U-T-Y, but it's actually D-O-O-D-I-E, meaning poopie.

If you haven't already heard me talk with Tim or about Tim, the short version is he was a cop up in Bangor, Maine.

He just retired, and he came to my attention years ago because he runs Bangor, Maine. He just retired.

And he came to my attention years ago because he runs Bangor's Facebook page.

And he had a column called Got Warrants, which basically was just a police blotter.

And he did it at a time when, well, I mean, we're still in this time, unfortunately, where good cops are retiring really fast. And the relationship between the public

and cops is tenuous. Tim Cotton just did exactly what a good PR person would do if they came in to try and help bridge that gap, except Tim's not a PR person. He was a detective for decades, a cop for 34 years. He's just retired. He's now embracing his writing career with both arms. Obviously, we wish him every success.
