Not unlike every episode Lance but this one we're speaking with author Maureen Boyle

who she's written several true crime books and this one is called Shallow Graves, the hunt for the New Bedford Highway Serial Killer.

So we're talking about her book about the New Bedford Highway Serial Killer today which is interesting I think to us Lance because we're both from this area and have not heard of it until this book.

Exactly. The book is great and Maureen does a great job breaking down the 11 women who went missing over the spring and summer of 1988 in New Bedford Massachusetts.

If anyone's familiar with that town that small city it is known as the Whaling City and this is where Moby Dick, Frederick Douglass and Herman Melville all have had a significant impact in New Bedford.

The book is great. I urge everyone to check it out. I listen to it on Audible. It's a great listen as well. And she's got a new book out called The Ghost.
