Hello Dreamers, and welcome back to the show.

This is the second part of a two-part series entitled The Tale of the Republic of Chad,

a showdown in a California meadow.

If you haven't listened to the first part, you're going to want to pause this and listen

to episode 264 first.

Otherwise you're going to be dazed and confused.

We'll go ahead and skip all the nice cities and get straight to the story so we can wrap

this up and move on to whatever I have in store for you next, which I will figure out

someday.

Just like I'm going to someday figure out my life.

We left off last time with first responders and a reality show representative showing up

at the scene of a shootout, disgruntled American Chad Wallen Reed had in an Antelope Lake

California meadow with a group of 19 and 20 year olds that had nothing better to do

apparently with their time than to mess with Chad's precious little solar lights.

So we will pick up the story from there.

By the time the game warden and the photojournalists were getting close to the meadow, there

were several more sheriff's deputies with them, and they were getting ready for a potential

armed confrontation.

They had their weapons at the ready.

As they approached, they found a single vehicle parked there.

Several of its windows had been shattered by gunfire.

And the photojournalist, he was getting every moment captured on video.
