Summary

This week on Stanning BTS,  Kayla and Bethany are back with their second-to-last ship episode ever, dedicated to the eternal roommates: Yoongi and Jin! From their shared love of fishing to their hilarious schemes, the hosts break down the iconic friendship of the duo also known as SIN. Listen to the episode now.

The episode kicks off with the hosts' glowing review of the new Permission to Dance On Stage live album. Kayla and Bethany share how the live vocals and incredible setlist transport them right back to their own PTD concert experience, bringing up feelings of nostalgia and a fresh appreciation for the members' energy and ad-libs.

But the main event? The special bond between Yoonjin! As the two oldest members and longtime roommates, their friendship is one for the ages. Kayla and Bethany explore their most memorable moments, from Jin comically narrating Yoongi's inner thoughts to Yoongi secretly enjoying his fishing trips with Jin. Why are they the ultimate schemers on Run BTS? What makes them call each other soulmates? Tune in to hear the hosts dive into the sweet, funny, and comforting dynamic of SIN.

Hello.

Hello, podcast,

and I'mic Army.

0:30.9

So this week, permission to dance on stage, the live album came out. And we already love this

0:40.6

album so much. We've both listened to it. I feel like multiple times at this point. And it just

0:46.7

feels so nostalgic. And it's definitely taking us back to our own experience at Permission

0:51.5

to Dance in L.A. Like for me, when I was listening to it, once telepathy came on, like, I was already

0:58.5

viping with the whole album, right?

1:00.0

Like, every single medley, every, like, I just love, loving the live vocals and everything.

1:04.9

But when telepathy came on, all I could think about was them writing those lifts around the

1:10.0

arena.

1:12.8

And, like, Bethany, our biases ended up on the same lift. And they were, like, right in front of us because we were only four

1:18.0

rows back from that, like, first level. Like, it was just so surreal. And hearing that song,

1:23.3

hearing the live version of that song from L.A., I was just transported right back there. Taken right back there. You bringing up that makes me remember how we knew nothing about that concert and we saw them get on the lifts and we're like, what's happening? What are they doing? What are they on? Right. And the realization together because we were like four rows back from like right where they were going by on those lists and we're like oh my god like they're coming right by us like we're going to see them and

1:48.1

how perfect that yeah it was our biases it was jim and namjune jhope and v on the same one so cool

1:55.0

i'm loving the album too i think when i heard about it i was not super excited about it just because we know all of the

2:03.9

songs. We went and saw them in L.A. And so I'm like, oh yeah, it'll be cool to have the live versions.

2:10.0

I was more excited for just like hearing the different backtracks that they have during the

2:14.4

concert. But no, the second on came on, the very first song, I was obsessed and I was really drawn in

2:23.2

with those live vocals and it made me miss them so, so much.
