It's Ariel and Raylene. Hello. I feel like it's been so long, but it doesn't seem like it's been that long for everyone

watching, but it's been two weeks since we saw each other.

It's been two weeks since we recorded, but also the last month of episodes has been really

bizarre because we basically recorded three in one week right yeah well we were together

and those slowly came out yeah yeah and so it's just been kind of like the schedule this is one of the

very few reliable things in my life that we record on mondays and episodes come out on mondays

like it's like very regular yeah and the last month has been chaos. Yeah, it feels like kind of like,

you know, how we talked about when you go like on a trip and we feel like we're far away from

each other for some reason. Like we feel more distance. I feel like we've been on like both of us

have been on a weird vacation. I agree. Like I feel like everything's where we are. I don't know what's

going on. But quite frankly, I know that we's been disrupted. I don't know where we are. I don't know what's going on.

But quite frankly, I know that we're back, even though we haven't actually been gone.

It feels good to be back. It's also funny because I feel like we haven't done like a reading update in

forever. Like nobody knows what I'm about to say, you know, like nobody knows what I'm doing

here with all these books.

Nobody knows what the hell's going on. But yeah, so basically today we're going to be basically

going back to a normal bog standard episode. We're going to be talking about what we've been reading.

But it is a little bit jazzed up just because we have so many book reviews to do.

So we're going to really be leaning on the book reviews on this episode because we have

been gone spotally on and off for a couple weeks here. I mean, the episode that came out

week before last was kind of an updating one, right? It was a quarterly update. It was a quarterly update. So we did talk, we caught up with you guys in some capacity, but it was like, you still don't know what I read four weeks ago. Like I, I, exactly. The books I'm going to talk about are like, I'm taking it back to a long time ago. Bringing it back now. How is the last week or two been, though? Do you have any updates for us and the people? Yeah, I mean, so last week we were off because of all the pre-recording, but also because it was Thanksgiving here in Canada. So it was nice to have that day off. Usually we work every stat holiday because they're all on Mondays. Yeah. So it was kind of nice to just have that day off.
