Now we've been talking about that cliche of you can't teach an old dog new tricks and I've been

very bold to say I don't believe that's the truth for believers in Christ because we are called

to be growing every step of the way. Doesn't matter your age, it doesn't matter your life

experience, it doesn't matter the setbacks or the hardships that you've faced.

I mean you can look through scripture at the various personalities that are there

and the circumstances and backgrounds that they come from.

And you see that God calls people from all walks of life,

at all ages, and in all seasons of life,

to submit their lives to him in faithful obedience so that they can grow,

so that they can become a representation of Jesus Christ in this world.

And you and I are called to that as well,

no matter who we are.

No matter what part of the world we live in,

no matter what we think are the obstacles we have to overcome.
