We never shaped the board together.

You have once.

What was the original, or do you remember,

the original kind of design theory when you build that board?

Because nobody had surfed in Wave pool before.

Totally.

I remember it really vividly because it was a completely different thing and Tom

come on board probably around about 79 or something like that and he was a good mate of my brother,

Chris, who was on the tour as well. Tom's sort of got better and better and better and started

win world titles and stuff like that. And he's come to me and he's gone I'm in this pool

wave pool I said what a wave pool and you said yeah they're going to have a contest in a pool and I

said wow that's really so we we started thinking about what are we going to do with boards for that so

we sat down we thought this is going to be really equipment based if we can come up with something

and that that we really research the way

we're going to do this and build this board. That was the father and son team of Phil and

Parrish Burn talking about a board that Phil originally built for Tom Carroll to compete on
