0:15.9	Welcome to the podcast. What would you like to talk about today? So today I am
0:22.8	wondering about parenting. I have a two and a half year old human child and
0:29.9	I have kind of been struggling with, I guess ever since they were born,
0:33.2	struggling with just this immense fear around just how much I love them and how
0:40.2	intense that feels. And then especially like as world events have unfolded and
0:46.6	things feel really chaotic and scary, I've just found that it's been harder for
0:51.3	me to kind of maintain my autonomy, which feels important as a parent and
0:57.2	just feeling the attention between like this really intense love and then this
1:01.2	really hard grief around existing. Yeah. And within that, I guess I've a bunch of
1:09.4	questions. So within that, do you feel like the difficulty maintaining your
1:16.2	autonomy is because of world events or just because you've a two and a half
1:21.1	year old? That's a good question. Actually ever since they were born, I've
1:26.1	like had a hard time being away from them at all. So I think it's kind of
1:30.1	exacerbated by like feeling like the world is this like super chaotic, dangerous
1:35.7	situation. And then also probably maybe I would feel this way anyways, even if
1:42.0	we lived in like a different world. Yeah, I mean in my experience, I myself am not a
1:47.4	parent, but I have consulted with countless parents over the years. And I think
1:51.3	not having a sense of autonomy with a child that is like not in full-time
1:55.3	school is very normal, especially if you're a primary caregiver, which I'm
