like Earth, and you keep zooming out or looking at different parts of Earth. We've looked at financial, we've looked at professional, we've looked at personal success, what kind of character do you have? Are you living up to your own standards of what it means to be a successful person? Well, the fourth and final one, probably the most important one for me, if you zoom all the way out,

0:21.5

But again, back to the origin story of this episode is in the first part of the book,

1:17.6

I talk about the seven rules of a small and mighty investor.

1:20.6

And I try to lay out what it means to be an investor who doesn't have to be huge and

1:24.6

go big and dominate the entire world and have thousands of units

1:27.9

in order to be a, quote, successful investor.

1:31.6

And rule number seven of the small and mighty investor is about defining your own success.

1:38.5

And that's what I want to talk to you about in this episode, because a big part of real

estate investing is, I want to use a metaphor here, is it's like you're playing a game or a sport. Now, I love sports. Many of you know, I play a lot of pickup basketball. I used to play football.
