I've been away from the microphone for a little while as we've enjoyed the Salt Lake City

My interviewee today is a man by the name of Kendall Wilcox.

I don't have sort of an official long biography of Kendall but I'll just tell you a few things

about him and then I'll bring him on to talk about himself.

The reason why Kendall Wilcox is sort of an interesting subject for a podcast today.

Well, there's a couple of reasons.

One is he's coming out this week publicly as the first openly gay, I don't know church,

LDS church employee slash BYU faculty member.

He's an adjunct faculty professor at BYU and he's also an employee of BYU TV.

But that's not the other reason we're interested in interviewing Kendall.

He's a filmmaker and he's working on a documentary that we want to talk about and he's

also started a nonprofit that sounds very interesting.
