I had my first sleep paralysis experience when I was 15.

When I was younger, I always had issues falling asleep and you're just being afraid of the dark

and being afraid of monsters in my closet like kids are.

So I always slept with a night light and then as I got older, I switched to sleeping with the TV on.

And one particular night, I remember my mom had cut off the cable because I had a 1950 TV

so the cable wouldn't connect to it anymore.

So it was just static and I kept it on all night and I woke up and I had been sleeping on my side

facing the wall and I could see the static gave like this eerie blue sort of, it just wasn't normal.

Like the color that was reflecting wasn't normal.

So out of nowhere, I felt like somebody was putting their chin on my shoulder and breathing into my ear
