How America won the Pacific War at Midway. Quick refresher, the battle of Midway took place

on June 4th, 1942, six months after the US was struck by Japan at Pearl Harbor.

Over the course of the battle, the US sank four Japanese carriers at the cost of one US

carrier, turning the tide of the war in the Pacific.
