And we're speaking to a really smart guy in this episode about a really compelling topic. His name is Iwan Morris.

And we're speaking about Frankenstein and the idea of sort of reanimating, I guess, dead people.

It sounds dark, but I assure you this is a fun conversation.

We first discovered this topic through a news article called Halloween Treat, a brief history of real life Frankenstein's that peaked our interest immediately.

That was on CNET.com, and it was written by Michelle Star. And Iwan was featured in this article.

Iwan is a professor of history at Aberstwith University, and he graduated in the Natural Science Department from Cambridge University.

We're speaking with a British gentleman so you know he knows what he's talking about.

Yes. And he's also an author. He wrote a book called Frankenstein's Children, Electricity, Exhibition, and Experiment in early 19th century London, which is pretty specific, but that's when a lot of these tests got underway.

And you know, a big part of the conversation takes place sort of in that time period. I find it compelling. I hope you do as well.

Yeah. And the jury's still out on whether or not Professor Morris has indeed experimented on reanimating lifeless corpses.
