Hello, loves, and welcome back to Tara for the Wild Soul

podcast. Lindsay here, so, so delighted to be gathered with you always, but especially on days like

this, big portals, big thresholds, of which the solstice is, if not the most powerful, certainly one of the most powerful.

We move through in the whole wheel of the year, and we get to be here together for it.

So thank you so much for being here with me.

This podcast episode wasn't planned, but I felt, I don't know.

I had a wild hair, and I thought, why not take to the microphone and just share, share

thoughts, share musings on this.

I think that the solstice is one of those times where,

and potentially this doesn't apply to you, right? Like some folks have such rich, like ritual and ceremony and tradition to draw from around the solstice. And some folks like understand

sort of that it's a potentially big deal, but don't know how to work with it. And some folks don't

know anything about the solstice and wouldn't know how to work with it if you ask them to.

Very often, you know, in the eight Sabbathbats of the year the eight sort of sacred days of

the year two of those of the solstices summer and winter two of those are the equinoxes spring and fall

and four of those are the cross quarters in bulk beltane, Sowin, and Lunasad.

That's, they're out of order, but you get it.

Those are, we can work in the most profound, beautiful highways with these days.

And we also don't have to work with them for them to be reminders, winds and energies that pass through us, that work with us, that affect us, that change

us. We are changed and we do work with these times on the wheel of the year and it doesn't need

to be, there's no problem with this.
