When did you start putting, I guess you call it mental health advice or education?

I don't know what you call that with your words, but when did you start doing that on

Instagram? I think I would say it was probably around 2016 and that I know

for sure because I graduated with my masters in social work in the year of 2015.

But around that time, mental health was still very highly stigmatized.

I don't think people were on Instagram around 2015 even promoting mental health

content I think we were still in the selfie universe and people posting

their brunt photos and inspirational messages and I think there was a pivot

where I started to see an influx of text-based content really flood Instagram and a lot of that content started to be geared toward

mental health, wellness, anything related to self-development that really had a focus on our mental well-being.

And so it was definitely around the time of 2016 that I've been doing the work that I do on

Like did you notice anything in the culture that was shifting at the same time? Like, is anything line up?

You know, that's a good question.

I often reflect on that because I really I'm unsure what was happening on a societal level where people made this huge shift toward mental health.
