It's actually quite unlike anything we've ever seen before.

A giant airing creature, pod ape, one mask.

In Loch Ness, a 24-mile long bottomless lake in the Highlands of Scotland.

It's a creature known as the Loch Ness Monster.

I'm Blake Smith.

And I'm Karen Stolzner.

When we started Monster Talk back in 2009, I wanted to get Darren Nashon

because he was one of the few scientists I knew who also kept up with cryptozoology.

He helped us make many connections, such as to his former teacher Dave Martill,

who taught us about terrors and the legendary rope of Papua Nagini.

Darren has had several appearances here and we're excited to have him back again

to discuss a project he's doing, which is focused on the cryptozes described in the writing

of Baronard Tugelmons.

It's a big art project and it's over on his Patreon page, which I will link to in the show notes.

Darren's been working his butt off during the pandemic, including contributing to the newest David Attenborough BBC dinosaur series prehistoric planet.

I'll put links to that in the show notes as well.

There are some big changes coming to Monster Talk soon, once which we will introduce in our next episode.
