Ashley Michaelis began her undergraduate degree in voice performance in music education at case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Institute of Music.

She encountered her own voice difficulties during her studies and as a result she found the field of speech

language pathology. She decided that she wanted to help others rehabilitate their own

voices and switched majors. She then completed her graduate degree at the
