And her mother had been at all of her births. And she's like, I want my mom. And she told me this prenatally. I said, oh, that's fine. That's great. Because I don't like to receive the babies. I like the mom to do it or the dad or somebody of their choosing. I don't want to be the first person to touch somebody else's baby. Childbirth is something we're made to do, but how do we have our safest and most satisfying experience

population with very little resources, as the name would imply. And so because of that, I've seen a

1:57.8

wide variety of things beyond what one might see in a home birth and things that

2:02.9

we would ordinarily, of course, risk out in a place like the U.S. where we have good resources

2:10.3

and are able to get more succinct medical care for mothers and babies. And so in light of that, I have a nice collection of wonderful stories.

2:22.9

I've attended a lot of breaches, over 500 multiples, including triplets.

I love this because when you remove the institution of birth, when you remove the medical influence

and especially the liability piece of it, when you go to these countries where they're just

2:50.3

happy to have somebody there to attend their

2:52.3

birth, who knows what they're doing. This is how we can build so much more trust and confidence
