which was a little dull and also bit mad I was a bit underwhelmed by Joe Swinson,

I have to say.

And I thought this sort of theatrical presentation.

She's not quite really for prime time, I think,

is what we've said in America.

I mean, I do like the way she's like really going for it and she's not you know she's completely

ambitious and wants to be I think she's going to be prime minister and all of that but I thought

she does she could do with a little bit more testing you know at the sharp end

I think the problem for the Lib Dems is always the same they can't they can't kind of

of really unite behind a single purpose yeah and the fact that she's now done this means that they're

sort of having to unite a single purpose but you can't tell me that Philip Lee

who I interviewed last week and I said it's great that the Lib Dems now think

you're homophobic because it means

that they're not very liberal just because of some of the things you said and the fact

that he voted against you know gay marriage you voted against the

importation of people if they hadn't been checked for HIV and so I said well surely this shows the lived

Dems are not a broad church at all that you have to think the same ways they do
