Hello heroes and welcome to a special episode of One Shot. I'm normally your game master, James Damato.

However, this week we have a really great surprise for you.

One Shot is going to come out twice. Right now, when you are in the middle of our Star Wars

Edge of the Empire campaign, don't worry, we will be releasing our Star Wars episode on Thursday

this week, so you will not miss Star Wars.

However, a great opportunity came up and I had to jump on it.

Instead of your regularly scheduled Star Wars episode this Monday, we're going to be playing Dark, designed by Will Hindmarch.

I usually spend at least an hour every day trolling Kickstarter for new cool role-playing systems

to buy and maybe put on the show. I had back to

project called Dark which is a stealth-based role-playing system. Dark is one of

those perfect Storm Kickstarter projects that eats up all my money.

It's a role-playing system that has a unique concept, stealth rather than combat, a compelling

core mechanic, playing card-based resource management, and best of all, the mechanics

thematically support the system. When I noticed that the creator of the system that

I had just backed was living in my city, I contacted him and asked him if he would be interested

in showing off Dark on our show.

And he said yes.

After playing Dark, I can confidently say my money was well spent. Dark as a system is intense.
