Fighting broke out between Israel and the Lebanon-based Hezbollah on Saturday.

The missile and drone strikes between the two continued through yesterday, although minimal damage was reported.

It was the initial barrage of the long feared response by Hezbollah following Israel's assassination

of that senior terror leader last month in Beirut named

Faudh Shuker. As reported by the British Telegraph and Reuters News Service,

the conflict erupted over the weekend after the Israelis received some

intelligence from their own sources

plus the United States that Hezbollah was on the verge of firing thousands and thousands of

rockets and drones on Saturday officials in Jerusalem then scrambled about 100 fighter jets

to blow up the rocket launchers and drones.
