Summary

Matthew 14:13-21 Today, we begin a series about compassion. We begin by defining it and seeing how Jesus showed us how to be compassionate through His actions. Jesus had just received some sad news about John the Baptist but despite this, he had compassion on the crowd. He healed the sick and fed them too. There is so much to learn from this story that we will do it again in the future to accommodate talking about more of it. The kids will be prompted to consider how they can show compassion to others.
