We're back on the incomparable summer superhero spectacular.

We're in the second round.

We're going to take our collection of 32 superheroes down to 16 in this round.

It's going to be very similar to the last

round in the sense that we have two cruel judges who are going to decide the fates of the heroes

in our star chamber today. Philip Michaels is one of the judges. Hello, Philip Michaels. Hello.

And Steve Lutz is your other cruel judge. Hi, Steve. Hello. If the judges should not agree

on a decision, then I have some exciting news because you, the listeners, voted.

This is our commitment to democracy here at The Incomparable.

If we can't decide, then and only then will the people speak.

And the winner who will move on will be the result of your vote. But I'll reveal

the results of your votes as we go as well as some choice comments from the votes given by

incomparable listeners. Jason, I just want to say on behalf of the judges, I think it's

very smart of you to admit your incompetence and to step down as a judge and to leave Steve and I as the

experts. That's right. Indeed. Indeed. I agree. And, you know, we'll see. So for this round,

this round, I think future rounds will be a little bit different, but this round is going to be

similar to the last round. A slight change. We want to keep it all positive in the first round and just talk about your own hero.

This time I'd like a brief recap of why your hero is good and then a little bit about why your hero is better than its opposition.

So a little more like better than not throwing them on the positive.

Not only, not only, you know, but it's not, it's not about them. It's about you. But it might be about why you're better than them. This is what, this is the slight change in guidance. I just want to come right out and say that no money has changed hands in advance of the judgments yet.
