Originally, I had planned for this to be a small part of a larger

episode but the conversation went long. I allowed it to happen I just leaned into

it was so good for me and I really enjoyed it. So my guest today is Brett Coleman.

And I'm sure you know him from YouTube.

The Bootleg Football Podcast. But I'm just a big fan of him I love the way he carries himself I love his

content I also love him as a person he's a really good dude you know behind the

scenes and I just loved getting to talk to him he He's a fellow football nerd. I thought we had a great

All right, I think the first thing I'd like to jump into is Patrick Mahomes.

When you first heard about that contract, what was your first reaction?

What are your thoughts on that?

Well, I mean, the first thing I saw was a 10-year deal, which kind of blew my mind a little bit,

because there's only been, I don't know, five of those ever.

And so I was like, okay, well, for this to be fair at all to Mahomes, it has to be an ungodly amount of money to help kind of offset cap increases.

Like he'll have to be paid so much more than every other quarterback today so that at least the deal

looks somewhat decent in four or five years for him.
