Summary

Do you become a crockpot of stress when stuck when driving or traveling? I’m guessing your answer is yes, and that’s why in this episode of the Align podcast, I break down my bullet proof principles for ameliorating these situations. You’ll learn how to align your travel to become healthier and more optimized when sitting in a car, airplane, bus, or train. I know when you apply these principles, you will successfully turn commute and travel into opportunities rather than a way of martyring yourself to get form place to place.   It’s fascinating how deeply associated our physical patterns are with the way we think, the way we feel, and the way we perceive ourselves. When we are in the correct mechanical posture, it translates to how we act in the world. Since we spend so much of our time driving and traveling, it’s essential to improve our travel experience.    What you’ll learn:  The negative affects of driving and travel on your mind and body Correct posture for sitting in the car Quick adjustments to make to your car  How to do isometric workouts  The power of 5 minutes of movement  Random hacks for easing the pain of airplanes Find more from me:  @alignpodcast alignpodcast.com   Learn more about your ad choices. Welcome back to the Lyme podcast. My name is Aaron Alexander. Today's episode is different. It is a solo episode. Typically, what this program is, is a place to bring together the world's leading thought leaders on all things, health and wellness to help y'all optimize your mind, body, and movement. But I've had enough demand from various humans that I respect and also some that I don't

0:26.1

know, but hearing that some more solos would be a value.

We posted a question up on the Instagram stories and

0:40.3

Aligned podcast, asking people what they were interested in. We got all sorts of different things,

0:46.0

but a consistent thread that I saw multiple times was travel. Sitting on airplanes is a mofo,

0:53.9

sitting in cars is associated to higher levels of anxiety.

0:58.1

And sitting in cars being in traffic is essentially you become somewhat of like a crock pot of stress,

1:06.1

but not necessarily if we make a few subtle tweaks. The same thing with airplanes.

1:10.6

Airplanes are even worse because you are up off of the ground, 30,000 feet or, you know,

1:15.5

obviously varies.

1:18.0

And so radiation becomes a big issue with that and not to mention again, all the stress and

1:24.2

you're just sitting and pulling up blood and lymph and all the fluids down

1:28.9

in your lower compartments.

1:29.9

It's a real problem.

1:31.4

So we're going to break down how we can ameliorate those situations to make them actually

1:38.5

be opportunities as opposed to just martyering ourselves to get from place to place.

1:43.6

I just really quick want to thank people for

1:46.1

leaving reviews for this podcast. I'm going to read just the last one, five stars. K80 Fab. Thank you,

man or female, whoever this is. Brilliant, explanation point. I just laughed my way through the J.P. Sears episode.
