0:12.3	This is for sure one of my bucket list guests. And it happened just really awesomely. Just
0:21.2	yeah. I don't even know how to say it happened awesomely. I got into Michael Meade fairly recently
0:28.5	in the last couple of years and saw that he had a lifetime of work. And I'd heard his name come up
0:33.0	a number of times from my brother Eric Godzi as the myth guy, the storyteller, and one of the best
0:40.4	storytellers who ever, you know, walked the earth, let alone is still alive right now.
0:45.6	And so I started diving into his work. I actually started with one of his most recent books Awakening
0:50.9	the Soul, which actually dives right into his life story. And it is phenomenal. I try to recapture
0:57.8	some of that. Michael was in Vietnam and realized right when he was drafted. Remember different time
1:05.4	different setting, different deal that he wanted nothing to do with that war. And in doing so,
1:12.2	he was court martialed. He was put in solitary confinement. And after enough time and solitary
1:17.1	confinement, in solitude started having visitations from some of the different people and
1:24.4	beings that he had read about in myths. And it's just mind blowing to see how people get initiated
1:29.9	and brought to their knees really. But Michael is someone who I hold with the highest regard. He is
1:39.7	absolutely tapped in his deep wealth of knowledge on myth allows and storytelling. It really allows
1:46.7	for him to explain things in a way that most people don't and most people can't. And I think that
1:51.5	that is one of the missing technologies of the day. Many, many times on this podcast, we've talked
1:56.8	about the fact that the most ancient ways of learning was through story before we had written
2:02.8	word and written language. And then of course, continuing on after the written word and written
2:07.2	language, it was still through story. It was through parable. It was through myth. And
2:13.2	Michael's story is fascinating. They'd really dive into that. He dives into that and Awakening
2:17.6	the Soul. And then another book that had a friend give me Jade Bryce gave me somewhere in the
