It's called a three-piece case.

Yeah, it's when you have different colored paper

on either side of a paper spine.

And we do it to make it look classic and fancy. And it works.

I feel classically fancy right now. The first thing I do is take off the cover so I keep it nice.

And then I'll just hold on to the actual book. So when I read this, I do this when it's on my shelf

is the dust jacket.

Because it's protecting it from dust.

And this makes me look like more scholarly.
