The cocktail of the week this week is the witty comeback.

It's a pretty good name, right?

It's pretty good. Give me eight to ten hours and I can figure it out.

This is a similar cocktail to the getaway, which was one of our first cocktails of the week, I think.

So the witty comeback is Rai Whiskey, Averna Amaro, lemon juice and ginger simple syrup.

Now, the getaway is rum, chienar, lemon juice and simple syrup.

Getaway is still awesome.

The getaway is great. So I mean, almost all these ingredients are different.

But so it uses Rai instead of a black rum.

It uses Averna Amaro, but if you look for like what, if I don't have any Averna Amaro,

what can I substitute with? Chienar would be a suggestion for that.

So it's a kind of bitter, appetifey thing, lemon juice.

And then this has ginger simple syrup instead of regular.

But it shows kind of the play on like you kind of swap out syrups and you swap out spirits.

And you, you know, there's like a lot of interchangeable things you can make a bunch of different cocktails.

Yeah, and the name is excellent.
