What's going on, my soul, family?

Welcome back to another episode of the Awakely Jake Show.

On today's episode, I'm going to be dropping in with y'all and doing a

question and answer session. So here's what I've done. I have hand-selected six different

questions from men and women from all around the world that I'm going to be answering live on this

podcast episode. Now, it's been a while since I've done a podcast. For those of you that don't know,

Melissa is currently pregnant. She's about seven months pregnant right now. Melissa is my wife.

And I've been taking a lot of time to really be present with her and be very reflective

and intentional throughout this process for me becoming a father.

And now I really believe strongly in the development of the child begins in the womb.

And so that child really needs to feel my presence as well and my love as well.

So I have been really intentional with my time and energy, really connecting with Melissa

and connecting with myself because I am bringing a life into this world.

And it is something that is so sacred to me.

And I think that something that we have lost in our society and that's being destroyed because I think there's an agenda behind it, which is the beautiful art and the sacredness of the family unit.

And from what I have learned in my life from growing up in a very broken fucking household that I didn't feel

safe in my childhood. So it is my mission and my duty as a man to provide, to protect, to

create safety, to love my wife, which is one of the most important things that I think is

often overlooked. So my stepping away from some of the most important things that I think is often overlooked.
