curveball maybe something to take your mind off all of the Edinburgh Festival doings if you're unable

to get here. So this is an episode recorded with a fantastic American comedian

called Nick Thune, which I recorded in his tiny but very well appointed hotel room at the

South by Southwest Festival in Texas earlier this year. Nick is just a

sensational comedian as you'll hear he started off as a kind of one liner guy pretty quickly grew to

understand how jokes work from the inside out and then has decided to use that

understanding and that skill to take himself into a very different sphere of comedy.

I highly recommend his latest Netflix special.

I'm recording this on the fly in Edinburgh and I can't remember off the top of my head what it's called.
