Hello and welcome to many episode 258 of Real Life Gold Stories and I have two

spooky stories for you today and the last story comes from January 21st, 2023 and story

number one comes from Varsha and Varsha's friend. It was the night before Raoul's

sister's wedding. There were a lot of people at his house, everyone was busy, so

Raoul was able to sneak out with his cousin Sanju in a car to pick up his

girlfriend, add to Trivandrum and bring her to the wedding the next morning.

They were sumed 250 kilometers away and it was night at 11pm when they got ready to go.

They drove and were on the highway when they came to know about an accident on the

road ahead. Calculating the potential roadblock and possible traffic jams, they

decided to take another route to Trivandrum. This other route would take almost

five hours to reach their destination. They were on this route and sometime near

midnight it started raining, which was unusual at this time of the year. They

drove listening to the radio until the reception was poor so they switched it off

and talked. Even though they were both tired, they were alert driving in the

darkness and the downpour. They had entered what seemed like a wooded area and

thought it was odd that they didn't pass by any other vehicles in the past hour.

Eventually they were out of topics for conversation and the passenger Sanju fell

asleep after turning off the light inside the car, which Raoul was okay with.

Eventually Raoul felt lonely and creeped out by the darkness, the lonely road and

the incestant rain. He couldn't see past 100 meters and there was neither street

lights nor any clearing on the side of the road. It was all trees. By 2am the

rain didn't stop and Raoul who was tired and for a second closed his eyes and
