Welcome to the happiness podcast. I'm Dr. Robert Puff. As we navigate life, sometimes it can be very complicated. We have to think about the future and what it holds, what we want and what we don't want.

There's things happening in our current life that we need to make decisions about who

we're with, where we work, what we do.

The past can influence us in ways that it's still impacting us.

Perhaps we're still struggling with things that occurred when we were a child. I mean there are just so many decisions that we have

to make throughout life. We may be renting and the landlord tells us that we have to leave because

the building is being sold. We may be at a job that we really like, but

it's been downsize and so we've lost our job. We may be in a relationship that isn't going well and we have to make decisions about do we want to stay, do we want to go, do we want to get into counseling.

We may be having health problems, perhaps our blood pressure is high, perhaps we've had the cancer scare,

and we have to do things to decide what we're going to do about that.

Life is just replete with decisions that we have to make, decisions that will have a major impact

on our future. And sometimes because we're unhappy, we need to make changes in order to find more peace and happiness in our lives.

Life can be very complicated.

So what can we do when we reach these crossroads, which can come daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly, these

decisions that we have to make, which will keep coming throughout our lives.

Is there a way to navigate these decisions in a healthy positive way?

So as we're needing to make choices and decisions throughout our life,

the decisions we make are positive, healthy, and improve our lives instead of decisions that

we make that may make our situations worse.

We all know stories, perhaps our own, where we were impulsive, we made a decision that has

had native consequences to our life.

And other times we make decisions that are positive and improve our lives.
