Today, I speak to three scientists who are part of the novel coronavirus research

compendium, an effort at Johns Hopkins to review new scientific findings

relevant to the pandemic.

First, I speak to Dr. Nicholas Wada about a paper published in Lancet infectious diseases

related to how the coronavirus is transmitted in schools in the United Kingdom.

Then, I speak to Dr. Cherie Schwartz about a paper published in clinical infectious diseases

examining children's role in the

household transmission of the coronavirus. Finally, I talked to a PhD student, Greg Rosen, about another

study in clinical infectious diseases, examining what happened when Israel opened schools

with few precautions back in the spring.
