I think I've only said very, very, very a very very very very

once and that's what you introduce yourself.

I am Alfry Woodard and like I am so so psyched to be here.

So tell me like you're kind of just on the beginning

stages of the press tour right for for Luke? Well we started this summer at

Comic-Con and there's been some things sporadically and then we did the TCAs, but now I am in the house in the

Marvel Tower.

So tell us about how did you kind of, you know, first get involved with with this project I got involved with Luke Cage

Marvel's Luke Cage when I had a meeting with Chio and Jeff Loeb.

And, you know, because it's also secretive,

there were no pages, there was no script,

there was just, they want to meet you if you're interested and of course my management

team and the agents are like you know model does that we don't know what it's about we

don't know what they want you to be they just they want to

talk to you I was like okay I'm game it was secretive enough you know he's like

something exciting so I go to so-ho house and they tell me what Luke Cage is.

I wasn't a comics person growing up and they tell me,

the history of Luke and Stan Lee introduced Luke in 1972 and it takes

place in Harlem.

Well I also happen to love Harlem and I am a resident part-time in Harlem and in Los Angeles.
